Mystery fever now grips UP’s Kasganj, quacks rule | Ground Report

The mystery fever outbreak that started from Western Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad has spread to many other adjoining districts, including Kasganj.

In village after village, many people are suffering from high fever and falling platelet counts. Quacks are ruling, and shops have been turned into so-called healthcare facilities, an India Today ground report shows. There are also some complaints about dengue.
